Before there was Du Blonde there was Beth Jeans Houghton & The Hooves Of Destiny. Released in 2011, ‘Yours Truly, Cellophane Nose’ is the first and only album released by Houghton before her metamorphosis into Du Blonde. Taking a more orchestral, baroque approach to songwriting than her more recent offerings, ‘Yours Truly..’ take us on a journey through the mind of a young artist beginning to navigate a world of music and relationships before adulthood takes hold. Written predominantly at the age of 16, the album would not be released for 5 years, and upon it’s release it became an instant time capsule, documenting a brief yet meaningful time in the life of the artist.
